Scode is a highly optimized coding scheme for the German language. It was etablished 2 years ago to provide a means for sending text messages to numeric pagers. Since then, it has become the de-facto standard in Germany.

Scode lets you transmit 11.8 German letters (average) within 13 numbers, that is a coding ratio of under 1.1 numbers per letter (this is unparalleled).

With JavaScode, the encoding process is done automatically. The user can chose to send the encoded numbers directly with JavaScode by means of MFW tone dial. (Netscape Audio Plugin required). All you have to do is to grab your telephone and hold it in front of your computer's loudspeakers.
